Main points of the Curriculum

The main points of English Literature (as previously abridged), are to focus on a certain part or era of literature.
Through a variety of media, students are said to learn about different forms of creative expression.
For example, when studying the Elizabethan era, one might encounter a various amount of plays and poetry, for people of that time are known to have a renewed interest in creativity
Exploring different forms of ingenuity in the artistic field is also a huge part of English Literature.
One could collaborate with their peers to lead a study and present to their class, which counts as communicating positively.
They can also find a way to improve their writing skills through investigating the different mediums that were common and popular amongst people in a specific area


Literary studies and Creative writing 10 is technically the last subject required to graduate Language arts 10.
However, there are multiple other instances after grade 10 in which you can study Literature.
For example, Literary Studies 11 where the focus is to mainly further one's understanding for developing higher thinking skills.
To nurture developing high educated members of society, this subject is a must!
