Why should one learn math?
Math is a very fascinating subject, because of just how much people hate it, while having it be a very important subject itself.
Learning math can help with various aspects of ones life that might not even be well-appreciated because of a topic that was discussed on this page.
The merits of learning math are great.
Not only can it develop analytical prowess, critical thinking and even problem solving, it can still help with ones discipline.

Learning at a young age is also the best way to absorb information.
That's why children are usually taught a second language when they're younger.
When something sticks with you as a child, it sticks with you forever.
Therefore, learning the core concepts of math while one's brain is still in development is the best way to get them to understand what the topic of mathematics are all about.
However, one might wonder why?
Why would one need to learn more than the core foundations of mathematics that seem to be the only things that you need?
Well, there are many different psychological and mental merits to the subject.
For example, learning different aspects of math can help one begin to think in new ways to work around certain problems.
Also, if one were to enter a career in STEM or perhaps just a STEM college course to become something along the lines of a mathematician, scientist, pharmacist etc, they would need to utilize very specific skills.
These skills would likely be relatively specific, and that would be to the benefit of someone taking said course.
