Teachers and Students Opinions
Students seem to have quite the positive opinion on Biology as a subject, usually viewing it as the most student-friendly science topic.
As mentioned throughout the website, chemistry is regularly regarded as one of the hardest science subjects, so this is a perfect contradiction.
This is likely because of the opportunities that involve hands-on activities.
Said hands-on activities include using microscopes to look at cells, or just all sorts of other labs that are scattered throughout the curriculum.
Even if it isn't something hands-on, there are still other ways that students find Biology easy to take in.
Written instructions for example, help students remember and take in information.

Taking notes, worksheets, all of these things attribute to students having different learning styles, all of which Biology can nurture (pun intended).
As for teachers, they also seem to see Biology as something that should be approached with some level of enthusiasm.
Some highlights of the subject throughout all of the different grades include:- Viewing cells through microscopes for grade 9s, specifically cells going under mitosis- dissections are also a big part of the subject.
For example, a cows eyeball is one of the big parts of grade 8 biology.

Overall, how other animals work and how other living things work in general is a huge contributor to how students could help understand the future, as are classifications.
On the occasion where students struggle on this subject, a lot of new words and language are usually where youth seem to hit a bit of a road bump.
However, the difficult parts of biology can engage curiosity.
After all, if something is easy enough, it can become a bit of a chore.
That being said, because science can get a little dry, both students and teachers look to be putting in an effort to make the subject a little more interesting.
Well, to signify, we can learn more about ourselves by studying other living things.
To conclude, Biology is a very well-viewed subject, and while it may seem that gives a lot of room for failure, it also gives an avenue for experimentation with different styles of learning.
Therefore, give biology a try! It's worth anyones time, and it doesn't only just teach you about science, but also about how to express oneself through studies.
